- Jack Kemp died just the other day ( I don't remember the day. A couple days ago. Whatever.), and Bob Herbert's editorial in the NYT about Kemp's beliefs is an interesting (and quick!) read. And if you're bored, read the new conservative's editorial, it's not that great (it's boring). He's right about Arlen Specter, but he's picked pretty stupid and boring crap to write about in his however many weeks there. His first piece was on how Cheney should have run for president. President Penguin.
